This project, developed for the Synapse'24 Hackathon at DA-IICT, presents a web application that combines a pre-trained Vision Transformer (ViT) model for lunar surface classification with an additional rock detection feature using bounding boxes. Lunar Surface Classification accepts an image and predicts its lunar surface type using a fine-tuned ViT model and identifies rocks within the lunar image and marks them with bounding boxes for visual clarity.
Developed an Android application for attendance management as part of the New Vibrant Hackathon 2023. The app featured robust user authentication and real-time tracking capabilities, ensuring efficient monitoring of staff attendance and participation. It streamlined attendance processes by allowing secure login, automated record-keeping, and easy retrieval of attendance data.
This project utilizes the face recognition library to recognize faces in real-time using a webcam. The facial recognition process involves capturing facial encodings from a set of images, storing them in a pickle file, and then comparing the encoding of a live webcam feed with the stored encodings to identify the recognized person.
Gesture Lingo is an innovative application designed to recognize and interpret five distinct sign language gestures from images, videos, and live webcam feeds. It offers a range of features to enhance accessibility and communication, including the ability to upload an image for sign language recognition, analyze gestures in video files, and perform real-time interpretation through a webcam.
I built an advanced quote-generation bot designed to deliver wisdom, inspiration, and guidance from the greatest minds in history. This bot can generate quotes from Ancient Greek philosophers, modern thinkers, writers, poets, authors, and novelists. It features a unique capability to provide tailored quotes on specific topics, offering insights into emotions, mortality, fate, control, and the impermanence of life.
